The bridge (at Paris Landing on Kentucky Lake) I will need to clear is, I was told, normally 55 ft off the water.   Looking for a 24-35 ft, fast sailboat that can clear it.  The J35 would be #1 choice if it will fit.

Thanks for any info...

Ok, nobody knows the bridge clearance, I guess...

Could anyone please tell me the length of the mast?

Could anyone tell me height of the top of the cabin where the mast would be stepped?

Bob,

Can't help you with the bridge.....  The J/35 mast is keel stepped.  As I recall, and please don't trust this exact number, the top of the mast is 46 or 47 feet off the water.  So you need to add a bit  for the VHF and any 'magic wind wand' you might have up there.

I suspect that you would find that the J/35 will suit you well and will be a whole lot of fun!
